Went out this morning from Limehouse to catch the last of the outgoing and about 1/2 of the incoming. Fishing was definity better than last weekend, but still vey slow. There was a tremendous amount of bait (finger mullet, shrimp from an inch long to eating size, croaker, and pinfish) all up and down the river. Honestly I have never seen so many small shrimp and mullet. What also didn’t help is that the two reds I did keep were full of fiddlers from the previous high tide = not too hungry. Caught 4 reds on the outgoing; 10, 19, 21 and 27 inches. on the incoming I only got 1, but it was a 31" pig. All except the little one were caught on either pinfish or croaker. Fished shrimp and mullet hard as well, but no bites.
