Windy day. Got to the ramp at 7 only to see that my battery was dead. Definitely glad Auto Zone opened at 730. I swear batteries have gotten a hell of a lot more expensive than they were a year ago. Any how got out to try to fish several docks but the wind was just too much. tried some creeks but no luck either. really didn’t see much movement. had a buddy with me who also had a kid several months ago and needed an outting. luckily i was able to put him on a few sheep which were his first sheep ever. that totally made the trip worth it. still wanted to land a few reds but it was hopeless… bait didn’t last 5 seconds before a crab when tear it to shreds (and i’m too impatient for artificials!). hope others had better luck.

had similar situations with the redfish. fished a goto dock on friday and sunday that always produces and we had some trouble getting them, did get one though on a fingermullet… i think its from the weather, with the quick cold front, but i could be wrong… what do yall think??
was able to get some trout on topwater though and a few nice flounder… had 2 big redfish (overslot) blow up on my topwater but couldnt hook up with either of them

just a plug, the superspook jr and badonkadonk. Worked some flats around drop offs and oyster bars… hope that helps
