I’m looking for a guide that knows the Stono waters. Anyone have any good guides in mind that fish the Stono?
Definitely
I’ll chip in and help pay if ya want some company. I could use some education myself on the waters and a day off work…
Second on Saltfisher.
Third; not only an excellent fisherman, but a great person as well
2000 SeaPro 180CC w/ Yammy 115 2 stroke
1966 13’ Boston Whaler w/ Merc 25 4 stroke “Flatty”

Thanks for the recommendations but I do not fish the Stono. The only part of the Stono that I fish is the inlet for sharks.
I am based out of Kiawah.
I would check with Haddrells or the Angler and see who they know that fishes that area.
I believe Chris Keen of keen eye charters and Geoff Bennent of Charleston Charter fishing do.

Saltfisher (mike Waller) fishes the kiawah. And he is the man!!
Also I’ve been with Geoff Bennett (Charleston charter fishing) before, great operation as well. I know Geoff fishes the stink and folly a lot.
John ward also fishes the stono.
Kevin Blair spoke at our Stono River Fishing Club meeting about a month ago. He specializes in the stono/folly river/kiawah river areas. Really knowledgeable, professional guide. can get you his info if you private message me (at the house and have to find his card).
meanwhile check with Stonoman on here, he lives on the stono and fishes it almost daily…
my BIL is a capt too, he’s fished primarily the stono for many years… I can check his schedule…
