Took son and neighbor out this morning. Couldn’t get away from the gnats at the first spot plus there was zero current so we moved on to work another creek. Saw a few reds right away so we stayed and ended up with 4 or 5 and missed a few before it was time to get home. Cut mullet on the bottom. Tried artificials as well as corks but ol’ faithful cut mullet on the bottom was the ticket for us. Reds were crashing big mullet so guess we matched the hatch. Caught them sporadically throughout the second half of incoming. Definitely having a good spring compared to my last 5 or so springs.
