Stono inlet area 7/10-7/12

Slooow fishing. Hard to weed through trash fish at times. Today got skunked but saw reds busting bait here and there. No luck on cut mullet. Yesterday and day before lost some really nice reds in structure early in the day. Lot of time between bites though. Sometimes I do just fine during big tide swings (moon) but I guess maybe a combination of big tide swings, muddy water from rain, getting late starts, and fishing outgoing just didn’t work for my way of fishing for reds. Probably would’ve had a lot of luck this morning with top water but wasn’t prepared for that. Ah well, still got a few reds here and there.

Anyone else have a slow time? Were you fishing cut bait, live bait, bottom, top (under corks), artificials, or topwater??? Just wondering.
