Tried to find the menhaden this morning with no luck. Any suggestions on where they have been holding up recently would be very appreciated.

Not sure how many big schools are hanging around Chs. I’m assuming there are several but who knows. Last week, on our way out for an offshore trip, motored from the northern tip of Morris Isl to the lighthouse and didn’t find any. Then, later in the day, they were all over the shallows in the Cooper between James Isl and the mega dock. The week before that they were north of the north jetty.
Again, I gotta assume there are several large schools but I’ve only been seeing them in one place at a time.

Last weekend they were thick just past the breakers on the IOP and Sullivans.

Ive been at IOP this week and haven’t seen any in the ICW or harbor like we usually do. Talked to a guy who had been looking for hours on Monday and he hadn’t found any.

Moby- Yes, they make great baits for most gamefish in our waters.
