Thinking of trying it this weekend in my 22 pathfinder bay boat if wind lays down.

Yes. I’ve run it in a 23 sea hunt and a 28 grady. It is a little squirrelly at times so I’d suggest checking it out on a nice calm day first.

If you don’t have a GPS on your boat, how can you get through here? I’ve never been past the end of sandy point kiawah
get to the green can and then head straight south and use island lights on your starboard as guide for staying lined up
This post was two years ago; how is this track holding up? Has anyone used it lately?

I’ve run it a few times this season just staying between the cans. No issue in my little Whaler at high or low tide.
There’s no I in Barbeque Team.
I ran it Monday two weeks ago in a 19ft Sea Pro SV1900. NOAA said sea’s were 1 ft, more like 2-3. as this was only my second time running it I was still nervous. the last can quits well short of where you need it. I just kept closer to bird key and stayed in between the breakers. heading to open water you will see breakers on your left and on the right, if you keep in the middle of those I think with some lateral jockeying you should be ok. depth finder and GPS definitely paid for themselves on those two trips. good luck
thanks
