wanted to report a little fishing to success to some folks who would appreciate it. Took the kayak out yesterday for the first time since june…hard to believe. got hooked up with a monster redfish right off the bat and fought him in the grass on ultralight tackle (10#mono) for what felt like 10 minutes. Didn’t have my net so landing it was interesting, he kept making runs when I got close. But ended up’ getting my picture taken with a beauty of a redfish, I’m estimating was around 28", about 9 or 10 pounds before he was released. Nice way to get back into the fall kayak fishing season. Ended the session with two trout, (one was dinner) and this beefy fish. Hope to report some more success soon. Cheers guys, keep posting those pics! andy
