Stono Slam - April Fools

TexasRed and I hit the Stono today and it was almost perfect out. Fish the bottom half the outgoing and about 4 hours into the incoming. Fished a lot of places and worked a lot of shoreline with the trolling motor. End of day stats were at least 15 trout of which we kept 3 up to 17" and lost several other keepers at the boat. 6 reds up to 27" and 1 small flounder giving me the slam. Three quarters of the fish were caught on artificials most colors were working with the Z-Man Houdini color doing really well for TR in the morning.

The pictures of me holding the reds with multiple spots are actually two different fish caught within a few minutes of each other.

I’m glad to see the stono is starting to heat up. couldnt find a red in the river whole spring break.

Good report and high-quality pictures. Were they taken with a camera-phone or with a real camera?

Fuji XP10 waterproof camera. It takes good picture in sunny conditions; low light is a different story.
