Muddy,nasty,no fish.Temp 79 all over,heavy stained from marker 51 to 84.Chop in Wad sound.called it a day,One dink trout,2 rays and 2 shark??? breakoffs.Sat trip canceled.:frowning_face:

That sucked also.As soon as the water clears up the Stono will rock again!!

Dmn…when I saw the exclamation mark on the title of your post…I was expecting good news. I’ll be going Sunday, maybe it the water will clear up by then???

Thanks for the report Joe. I may head to the harbor againg this weekend. Last weekend I had good luck with the trout and flounder.

Boat will be in for service Monday.Will fish again friday and this time if the Stono is muddy i will head to the Wando.Tired of disappointing the guys that go with Me.They expect to catch something.

I hear ya Stono. I am pretty frustrated with the Stono and Wadmalaw areas. The first couple of years I fished there it seemed that it was almost like being at Cape Romain / North Bulls Bay. It still is infested with fishy looking spots, but just not producing like it was. For me anyway; I know some of Y’all out there are busting their a**. I surely am ready for one of those days!

I’m hip on the Stono/Folly fish drought. I firmly believe the fish are still there, just harder to find and catch.
