got to limehouse about 10.30 and was fishing by 11.00.trout were biting right from the get go.caught 17 in about 2 and a half hours or so.the one pictured is the second biggest of the day.also landed 2 spottails for a total of 19 fish.big fish of the day was a 22 incher caught under the same dock i had hooked a biggun a few days back.all fish were caught on saltwater assassin (electric chicken)with a plain leadhead.22 incher released to gatorize.the 2 spottails were 13 and 15 inches.both were also released.this is my best day in a long time.i am hooked on the “stono”.i might note the spottails were caught in the grass or at the edge,but the trout were hovering in 5 to 6 ft of water on the average.great day.note:the fish are still tailing in the grass.atleast where i was:sunglasses:
2 0r 3 caught close to this size…forgot to mention,all other fish were released except one 14 incher to go with this one.
sold the kayak to fishfofun.gonna be fishin out of the canoe from now on til next spring anyway.you guys welcome him to the section.we fished together a couple of times.nice guy.
im tryin whtz.got to get the wife thinkin my way.saturday fishin aint a problem,i just dont know how long i can stay out there.bringin the son this time.dont know if i can swing 50.00,or is it 25.00 per boat?
im gonna rig up a big live bait bucket this week sometime now that ill have room.any ideas besides a 5 gallon bucket with a battery operated air pump?
