Let’s keep this at the top…maybe ask Andy if he can make it a sticky.
This is not a good thing if it happens. For those who have had problems with E10, just think about what 50% more ethanol will do to your engines or fuel systems.

Russells exxon in west ashley across from costco has ethanol free mid grade. Price stays about fifty cents more than regular.

A cooler of buds, a bucket of bait, and the skeeters are biting. It dont get no better than this!!

Another effect of E15 is that it gets the farmer to grow more corn. Well, to do this they need more land. And a lot of land that is covered in pot holes(ponds) for breeding ducks and resting spots will be covered to provide more land to grow corn. The effect of this E fuel is bad news all the way around.

What if we start a boater’s movement to use only 100LL Aviation fuel in out boats until they lay off this more-ethanol push… that should really get the environmentalists in a tizzy :imp:

“MTBE OR LEAD - THE CHOICE IS YOURS, GOV’T”

(I know that would ruin oxygen sensors, etc… just speaking in the hypothetical. Buy my old carb’d 2-stoke would love some leaded gas )

But for real, this whole thing is about a divided battle as it gets. A bunch of mid-western corn farmers with no concept of coastal/boating culture vs. millions of lifelong boaters that live in states where corn production doesn’t impact state finances - with the environmentalists glogging up the mix… sheesh.

Just a side note, it costs aprox. $1.29 to produce $1.00 worth of E-10 (the farmers are being subsidized by the Feds. to produce it), and you get 15 to 20% worse mileage out of it. Seeya, Scott
