hey guys i am from the upstate like some more of us are.i got a question.where is a good place to store a boat for the shrimping season down there…i want to try and find a dry storage spot with a reasonable price.
If you can’t find suitable dry storage and are willing to go with not dry, undry, whatever, I stored my boat at Carolina Boatyard on Hwy 41. They have a fenced in compound with security cameras and a washdown area. I found it to be quite suitable. Give Tracy Kerr a call at 1-843-971-1812.

Isn’t that quite a haul to the shrimping grounds? I keep mine at Mount Pleasant Mini Storage on Von Kolnitz rd. It’s a short ride over to launch at Shem Creek or Remley’s Point.

Not really that bad, I kind of split my time between going to Bulls Bay and the harbor so either way I could get to a landing in 20 minutes or so. I am coming from Columbia so it beats towing from there every time I come down.
