I just got a 2000 9.9 Johnson 2 stroke and it’s been sitting for a few years in the previous owners shed and seems to have carb issues is there any tricks/quick fixes to clean the carbs up. Second is there anybody who could help me with this issue for a decent price I am on James island but not its not a big deal if I have to drive a little.
PULL THE CARB OFF, TAKE IT APART, AND BRING HERE AND I WILL RUN IT THROUGH THE ULTRASONIC CLEANER FOR YOU. YOU SHOULD GET A CARB KIT AND PUT IT BACK TOGETHER.

Well as an update thanks for the generous offer, I was seriously considering going to you/Charleston marine because your reputation as one of the best on this site, but I got lucky by giving it a few more tries adjusting the air screw on the carb again and now its one pull and idles and trolls excellent.
