Why do trees always fall across the road instead of along side it. I have a couple of massive trees that decided to make my life even more miserable as I have a home in St Augustine that also go hit.

I made it down to my land(130 acres) near Holly Hill on Sunday. Mostly 27 year old pines. I lost about 10% of them in the storm. None of them snapped, they all got pushed over at the roots. Pecan tree fell on my shed too. Only saw one old red oak down but I couldn’t get to a lot of the property due to water flowing as if it were a swamp. Screw Matthew!!!
That’s me. I took my Jon boat Tru the entire property. I can almost step into my 14ft stands off the bow. O the fun of hunting the river swamp
