We headed straight out to 400ft. ocean was beautiful, but no life.
we trolled this way, that way and the other way from 8am until 1:30 with nothing.
Not even a bite. Brutal.
at 1:30 we had a small blackfin tuna. Around 2:00 it changed. from 2:00 until 3:30 we caught 5 dolphin and 1 wahoo. all were about 15lbs. Biggest dolphin was 40lbs, my personal best :smiley::smiley:. It was the 3rd fish of a triple knockdown. There was just 2 of us on the boat, so it was organized chaos.

Caught on a TLD 15, 20lb Mono and a live bait rod.

Oneal, it took about 20-25 minutes, to get him in the box. It was fun but I was glad when it was over.

Great way to spend a day. We dont get to fish with just the 2 of us(usually have kids on board) often but when we do it always fun.
