Strictly Business 7-25 First Sail!

Left the dock around 4:30, got the spread in around 6:00. Trolled around R6 for awhile took a bunch of cuda shots for about an hour and a half. Decided to push out to R8, Lots and Lots of cigar minnows all around the tower birds working, nothing but cudas. Trolled away from R8 and got the sail in about 150’ of water west of R8. Took a couple more shots then headed to the deli, no weed line no current break nothing to be found. Came back into R7 trolled some more then headed back to the hill. Not a huge day but it was 100% worth the trip, seas were awesome ran around 40mph all day and the sail made the trip. A first for me and a first for the boat. Great job to all on board!

At least one of the three guys had on gloves while stroking his belly in the back of the boat. I cant tell if the sailfish is enjoying this or not…

Yep, I am getting some popcorn ready too. This is going to be great.

BTW - Congrats on your first sail!!

He was enjoying it!! It’s like getting hugs; they love this kind of affection

Nice fish. Not sure if you are aware, but it is illegal to remove one from the water unless you are keeping it. Not the best logic, but it is what it is… If you let it go, you actually broke a law. If you did not know, now you do. Just keep that in mind as there is a lot of info about you on here and if someone wanted to get you in trouble, there is a possibility they could. Not ragging you, just wanted you to know.

dirty boots are on - hi di ho

Heck, with a boat like that he aint worried bout no little fines. Look like the sail was smiling for the picture.

This beats the hell out of 3 putting!!!

congrats on your first, great job

Good job on the sail. Its completly understandable for you to take your pictures. These guys like to give people a hard time; that’s all. Don’t pay them too much attention.

Good job!

And what a raging success it is…

You’re the creator of the site and you don’t even post your own reports there…that is just friggin hilarious…

Sorry for busting your nuts but I have a problem with you promoting your site on a competing one…kind of like handing out burger king coupons at a mcdonalds…it’s just not right.

actually i did post it there, My site is geared more towards the hilton head Beaufort area this is Charleston Fishing. Im not trying to advertise, and im not trying to steal members. This is a great site that has lots of information and i come on here all the time, along with southcarolina-offshore.com, both great sites. when i started my site it was pretty much for fun. i dont sell ads like most of the sites you see and the ads you do see are from my friends that i want to help out promote there business. The one thing that i do not put up with there are jack asses like you who are alwayse negative. Could never figure out what the hell your problem has always been.

Congrats on the sail. I don’t listen to 23 though-- he is not a rocket scientist and works for a Jiffy Lube rip off on James Island. If he doesn’t like the rule he can try and change it instead of encouraging people to break it. Very irresponsible of him–that’s why he’s at Jiffy Lube and can only afford a 23 footer on a 10 year loan. Hah.

You are only as good as the conference you play in. i dictate and no proof read

Rebel Yell, you almost posted something positive. Must be the new you? Other than bashing 23, that wasn’t so bad was it?

A “hard time”, my goodness!
I have been reading all these many posts here for years expressed in the loquacious badinage of Low Country South Carolina without realizing anybody was giving anyone else a “hard time”.
I just thought this is normal comminication for the area.
Maybe I better get over to that new site where folks chat in a more gentle manner!
On second thought, why bother, CF is too much fun!
