Has anyone had any success catching kings using mullet strips with a skirt? Saw a You Tube video last night out of Florida on how to cut the bait into strips for king trolling. Looks like a good alternative to live menhaden.

Mullet strip or any silvery belly strips. The most popular are false albacore belly. There are many options for kings other than live shad, but few will consistently catch the larger fish.
