Striped Bass wanted for Fish Print

Looking to make a print of a striped bass, so if anyone can supply me with a striped bass I would give them a print of it and the fish back the next day. I am located in Charleston so preferably be located in the general vicinity for pickup/dropoff.

I just moved down from RI/NY where I am used to the 40+lb striped bass, but I have to work with what is in the local waters! Here are a few of my recent prints and you can check out all of my prints at www.coastal-prints.com

I have seen your work on the other pages here… cool stuff. Do these fish have to be fresh/frozen? How do u prefer them. I have a 4# brown trout in the freezer (hasnt made its trip to the taxidermist yet). Could get u a smallmouth as well if they can be frozen.

I prefer the fish fresh or at least kept on ice for a day or two. Fish that are kept in good condition (no torn scales, fins, ect) print very well so as long as they are in good condition it should be fine. I can work with frozen fish no problem, but it would require an extra day or two to ensure the fish is properly thawed.

If the fish is still frozen during the printing process, as it starts to thaw moisture leaves the body and generally moves to the outside of the fish. This causes the ink to blot in random places.

I would love to do the trout and the smallmouth and can get both fish back to you once I am finished with the printing process. The ink I use is non-toxic and washes right off. I can also have the prints framed if you are interested and will let you know the total cost once I am finished.

Most of the guys that post on here are fishing Lake Murray. We don’t get many posts from the Moultrie or Marion. There is a guy that fishes Moultrie a lot, his name on here is lynnmcd. Look him up and send him a PM, he would probably be able to get you a pretty good sized fish. Decent sized by freshwater standards that is, not NY RI standards.
