went to put foot back on after rebuilding water pump an one of
the bolts didn’t feel right going in. About have way in it
stared just to turn. Thread are striped…

Next time you come in, come heavy, or not at all…
If it is metric you can use the next size up standard bolt and retap for it. The size difference would be minimal but you would have to remember that particular bolt will be different from the others when serviced next time.
