Does any one know if there is a striper club or striper guides that fish the lower savannah river? I live around the upper savannah and catch stripers and fish the lakes up here. There is alot of water below us i dont know much about, any info would be great.
how low are you talking in the “lower savannah” if i am not mistaken isn’t illegal to take striper/hybrids below “new savannah bluff lock dam” or something like that. remember reading it on one of those stickers dnr give out for measuring with. just my .02 other than that i know nothing about the savannah.
I think its a two fish limit, 26 inches maybe? Plenty of big ones caught around Aiken area, I see them rollin all the time at the Butler Creek landing.
Ya thats where im from, I meant down below Allendale area to Savannah. We catch some nice fish up here but it seems this time of the year they leave, well alot of them. Any advice would be alot of help.
