So DNR stocked the upper wando at paradise landing early last fall/Late summer and i had good success catching them all fall and most of winter. Haven’t caught one in the last couple of months. Anyone else seen them around that area lately? Hope they are still in there somewhere. This was the first year i have ever caught them. Fun fish to catch
Me and buddy caught some last week. I caught one that went 27 1/4" and then we caught 12 tagged stripers that ranged from 17" to 20".
FYI, the DNR doesn’t offer a cash reward for tagged stripers anymore. At least not according to what I was told when the DNR called me back after I called in the tag information. They did offer me and my buddy two t-shirts.
Earn it everyday
If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace.
Never shoot a large caliber man with a small caliber bullet.
Good to hear. I was hoping that they had just moved from there winter hideouts. When i was catching them it was about 10 at a time. A lot of fun
All fishermen are liers except me and you and I’m not sure about you.
Wow, that is awesome., I am gonna have to go. I moved here 3 years ago from VA and LOVED catching and eating stripers in the Chesapeake Bay. We used to use 5-6 inch storm lures. Is that what you are using? Bait casting or trolling? Thanks

Caught a couple on Z-man paddlers, but most on mud minnows or shrimp. Carolina rig.
