Who is getting ready to stalk some striper this week on Moultrie. I plan on going Tuesday night a little before midnight(not fishing until midnight). I have a couple of friends that have been catfishing around the dam lately that said that they haven’t really seen any striper activity on the surface or on their units. I’m gonna go anyway just to scout for myself. I plan on going Friday night also. Anyone else going?

Yeah man, I am ready 
. I had to start taking my boat offshore trolling to fill the void 
. I really enjoy the offshore fishing (although more $$) and had pretty good success 
. I don’t mind the closed striper season, it gives me time to hit the blue water. I hope the new regs will help the numbers also. I just wonder how many nice 21" to 25" fish will be killed before one gets a limit of 26" or better. I will definitely post my results and observations…

I’m gonna try to make it up there wed evening. I was catfishing near the ■■■■ about 2 weeks ago and caught a nice 50lb flathead. I think the new reg is great but there is definetaly gonna be some floaters from 25" and under, hopefully not. We’ll see gotta catch’em first…
