Happy Thanksgiving to all my striper fishing friends.
The local striper population can rest easy for Turkey Day.
But we will be back. Saturday for me.

The Striper population can rest easy year round when I am out there. I am planning on going out Tues and Wens afternoons. The weather is supposed to be great. Looking forward to going out with Chris G real soon.

Lots of birds and boats at the river junction on Murray. My 12 year old caught his first striper just shy of keeper size trolling yesterday. We’re new to striper fishing and would like some helpful hints on different striper fishing techniques. Thanks.
Edisto if you will scan through this section(striperfishing) you will find a lot of tips

what boat were you in? I wasn’t fishing but was on the water a little bit sunday morning going to grab lunch, my house is in a cove just off of spring creek which is right at the fork in the rivers, I was in a McKee Craft CC
A Scout 202 with a 150 Johnson. Easy to spot, and if I trolling live bait I will usually have 2 planners out on each side, 2 dwon rods in the front, and a ballon in the back that comes off the top of the windshield guard rail (up and out of the way). Come say hay, channel 68 was silent all day
Next weekend I hope to try raysville area (unless I hear of the bite someplace else)

Good deal, I’ll probably be all over murray saturday trying out the new boat, picked up a 2004 sea pro 206 CC with a yamaha 150 ox66 for my little brother yesterday in the OBX, left out sunday at about 3:00 to get it, headed home yesterday at 9:30 am, long ride needless to day. Get this, picked the whole rig up, ready to fish, for 21k, including a Furuno 1850 combo plotter/FF, thing sells for nearly 2k new. It’s got the ice blue hull sides, and the sea pro graphics have been removed. If you’re on the water give us a holler, usually have the VHF scanning 68, 16, & 9. I’m keeping my McKee, just added another to the fleet, still had room in the yard for another trailer.
