Stripers in Lake Wylie?

I just moved to Lake Wylie and I’ve heard there are some stripers in the Lake. I also read there are Stripers behind the ■■■■ at Wylie. Anyone know where to catch Stripers in Lake Wylie area (if at all)

I’m from tega cay and fished that lake for over a decade. VERY few stripers…not enough to target. Different story w/ Lake Norman though.

You can catch them behind the dam, its time consuming though. get on the wall and have a rod that will cast a LOOOOONG way. Pitch bucktails at the gates that are running water and you might catch a few. There are a couple of older asians that fish there that absolutley smash the stripers at times. watch them and learn.

The white bass used to be really fun several years back but something has stopped the numbers of them from reaching the dam. we havn’t seen them in about 4 years now.
