Went searching today but no luck…actually went somewhere new so it was an exploration!

Calibogue, ever fished for them around the south Edisto or the Combachee?

Any of the fresh H20 rivers that dump into the salt. Look for vertical structure just below the salt break with fast moving water!

I have caught them on 3 different rivers and am still trying to learn more myself. If you think you got them figured out…Well, guess again!

Mud, you could try trolling/casting bucktails or deep diving rebels around the steel bridge on the Combahee…but you must have in your possession a permit signed by either Calibogue or me. (You see, we own that piece of the river.)[:0]

The steel bridge I assume is the bridge on Hwy 17? Don’t use many bucktails where I fish, so I don’t have a clue what to use…any advice would be appreciated.

fished behind ken hyats house, bear creek, crystal lake to no avail. caught the 3 fish pullin boards against the dam in 30 ft of water. there is always a few fish at the dam.
