Any good suggestions for a stripping basket, or do you think they are not needed when wading the flats?
Not needed… just don’t strip all your line out and walk around… I usually just strip out what I need when I get into position on a fish…
Simple is better…

I agree with Mad_Mike…not needed. Keep it reeled up and also learn to control/manage your line in the water if its out.
It takes a little practice and time on the water…but at first, you’ll be wrapped up in line, line stuck in the grass, all sorts of mess…but its really not that bad after you make it second nature to maintain your line.
When I did use a stripping basket, I had pretty good luck with the one from LLBean. Served me well, but I no longer use it on the flats.
