Fished the Wando this morning for my first time. Fished the upper end of it an hour before low and then several hours of the incoming tide. Never got a single bite and fished some areas that looked like they should be loaded with fish. Guess I’m going to have to put a little more time in up there before the fish gods tell them to bite my hook!!!
Sorry to hear that. We usually do pretty good up there, no matter the time of year.

They definitely live there. I heard they prefer smaller lures right now.

Fished the Wando yesterday as well and had the same luck. Saw huge schools but they were super skittish. Threw all kinds of artificials at them and even floated a MM thru the school and no takers.
Fished the same school last week and caught 8…go figure!
