Structure on Rhoden Island?

I was playing around on Google Earth and notice a structure that I hadn’t seen before…maybe y’all can tell me what it is.

If you are going up the Wando past 526 and take the first left (Daniel Island), eventually you see a long white structure with gates on each side?

What is it?

I agree with tugted. that is an ominous sign of impending development over there. my kids used to ski in that creek before all the millionaires built houses

We skied in there, Beresford, & Hobcaw before the development. They had to build the bridge before the permit ran out.

they have no plans on building on the island yet. But the permit for the brige was running out and they built it so they didnt have to try and get the bridge permit approved later. 80 lots on the island when it is developed. I would like to win the lottery and purchase the island for my single residence.

saw that too drove out hoping to fish and there is a gate at the entrance of the bridge. There is also a snack bar for the golf course right there so I wasnt gonna risk it…yet…
