I know people are very hesitant about giving away “secret” spots. With that said, I’m not asking for exact locations, but my wife and I are taking the new boat ( used one, actually, but new to us), down for the weekend on the 19th, and other than Paradise, I’m not too up on places to catch some “reef” type fish. I’ve got a 21’ KW walkaround so I can go out a bit comfortably, depending on the whether ofcourse. Any suggestions welcome. Would also like some big shark hot spots within 15 miles if you know of any. Would like to put the wife on a big shark for a bit too. Thanks, guys.

I have caught the most sharks at PI reef, but wouldn’t go there if you wanna put any fish in the cooler. 10 mile will probably be hit or miss, but Upchurch and Bill Perry usually have plenty of good size fish, but closer to 25 miles away. Have not been out of MI this Summer, so i may be totally wrong.
Good luck

Buy a MapsUnique chart and plug in the numbers of live bottom listed on the chart. You can buy them online in a hard copy or electronic version that you can download to a SD card and import right into your machine. The artificial structure is pressured hard and tough to get a decent bite on, hit the numbers on the chart for better fishing.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Plenty of stuff going on at 3 mile right now…
I’m tired of being told that I have to “spread the wealth” to people who don’t have my work ethic. I’m tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it. I think I’m going fishing…!!
Georgetown 60 is 22 miles from ni so should be closer to mi plenty of sharks and barracuda, which are much more entertaining to catch than equal sized sharks in my opinion. Also a better ratio of keeper bsbs than north inlet or georgetown reef. Take the first “legal” bsb you get and put it on a wire king rig and let it go out of the back of the boat on a balloon or just free swimming. You will get a shark or cuda pretty quick.
