Struggling for the slam

Got to the landing round 6:35 and off I went in the fog and it was thick as well as dark. First spot as a little daylight was breaking red after red, decide to fish the opposite side of the river and caught a few nice trouts. Hunting a flounder for the slam ran into PatsyJean2 spoke and hit a side river, missed the first flounder but got the next one in the boat. Tide now pushing out and I roll with the flow and Slam a 20" trout. All after I tagged reds and a flounder.

Need to pick up oysters for the game this evening. The Gnats torn me up this morning.

Beautiful Haul FatRat!! Always a good day when I see you in the creek! I call that the place near the fence my little Hunny Hole!! I got a Nice 24" spot in the mouth. The lower side can be good for trout as well when the creek is running out.
p.s. the 20" trout you caught the other day… Jealous!PJ

That 20" er swam away but Sunday after I passed you up I nailed a few nice trout keepers. I’m fishing for the sport right now won’t take another home until the new years. Oh except flounders and they’re beginning to run deep. TT with trout eye still working for me
