Messed me up Sat morning. Wanting to head to my spot on the Wando, and as we’re approaching Ravenel Bridge exit, it’s blocked off. Then it hit me the stupid run was Sat morning, so I have to turn around and get to Remley’s the LOOOOONG way from 526. Put us an hour and some change late and I knew we had missed the bite. Sure enough, no signs of life. No bait jumping…nothing. Tried our best but got skunked. I hated running before…I REALLY hate running now.
Is there a landing on 526 in the Wando?..thought there was. Private only?
Bridge run has been going on for almost 40 years now. At what point do we expect people to take personal responsibility for stuff? Part of whats wrong with our country today. Paradise Landing is public but it is also WAY up the Wando.
Bridge Run didn’t interrupt our visit to Bee City out in Givhans yesterday so I can’t complain. Although I do agree with your assessment of running. If any of you see me running, there is a very strong chance you should be running in the same direction, and probably need to be outrunning me.

Bee city is a cool little place. I can’t wait to get out n the water again. It’s been a week and I’m going stir crazy…ESP with this weather! Well at least I will get to go crabbing with daddy Thursday/Friday ;). Donnie is dojng much better. He hated it that he couldn’t do the bring run this year
I live in Charlotte, but own a home on Murrells Inlet. My mom has a condo in downtown Charleston. Have dozens of friends and family there. I know about the run…the when’s and wheres. I have had friends and family participate…Its sucks that happened, but you should have known better.
I live on Anson, (blocked of for 18 hours driving wise). This year I did forget about the race… A new fianc can do that. I was pissed (@ myself) for lack of planning. I set up a cooler, food and music. Fishing community is always welcome @ my house. I’m heading out in the am, looking for red’s. I fish behind sully’s w/ a john boat turned into a machine. Took the front bench and mounted it over the 25 to get a better look. pm me if yall want to fish. god bless
