I noticed after DNR pulled me over that my anchor light isnt working. Ive been busy and didnt get a chance to find/fix the problem this past week.I am wondering where i can buy one of those that suction cups to the cowling to use for tomorrow and for a spare in the future. Trying to get it as quickly as possible in the morning and was hoping someone could tell me where the best place to try first is. I live on JI and I just checked wal marks:smiley: and they didnt have any. Guess west marine next since its close but I bet they cost a good bit there. I am thinking about attaching a mini led lantern to my pole just to use from the spot to the ramp tomorrow evening. IDK. IF anyone knows where i can find a suction cup regular(AAA,AA,C battery) anchor light on sunday morning please let me know. thanks guys.

How about one of the cheap solar lights that Wally World has for a temporary fix? Iāve put some on our dock ramp. They light up at sunset and, so far, have stayed on all night long. I think they cost less than $1.00.
Try tapeing a light stick to a 4ā pc. of 3/4 pvc and put it in a rod holder! Can get them at Lowes for a buck get extras to use as an emergancy becon in the boats or tuck
Thanks guys. DF we dont have an academy down here but i wish we did. I probably wouldnt buy that much fishing stuff from them b/c i like to support haddrells but when academy gets ready to get rid of something they have some great deals that are hard to pass up. Plus, they have good deals on camo and ammo. Spoonmaster, what an excellent idea! I read your reply while in bed this morning and I knew right where those things were at the JI wal mart. So, I jumped up and ran over there. Well, they were not where i had seen them a while back so i ask an employee. She said they were all gone b/c they had put them on clearance a few weeks back and the only ones they had were 7 bucks and had figurines for the light and it changed colors. BP, didnt see you relpy until now. just bought a 5 dollar mini led lantern and taped it to the pole. worked great as a fix for one 20 min boat ride!
