Sufix 832

Has anyone used Sufix 832 braid? Any comments?

:question::question::question:

Yes. its great, albeit really expensive.

I switched to it when Mike Jr from suggested it and I can honestly say that I have way less little cast knots(still get the occasional one) and it definitely casts farther. I have it on all my inshore rods now. I have had spiderwire and power pro in the past and I like the 832 the best… But just my two cents…

I love it… I have it on all my rods also. Best braid I have ever used

Personally, I don’t like it. It frays easy,then has that fuzzy look. I like the suffix performance braid better. I’ve had more wind knots with 832. But, hey that’s just my .02…

my ideal braid would be one that won’t dig into itself when your fighting a fish

Works fine. Haven’t yet found a place with bulk spools-only 150 yds.

Most people that I have sold the 832 braid like it a lot. It is a little more expensive than the power pro braid but just about as expensive as spiderwire invisibraid and camobraid. I do think that on some of the Penn reels the oscilation is a little slower than Shimano reels and some guys with Penn reels are having a few problems w/ the 832. I know for a fact that the 832 with Shimano reels have been performing exceptionally well. Hope this helps!
