Fished the last two days with my boy Bear Holeman. Yesterday was calm, with a slight north wind. Saw lots, I mean lots of fish but only got two bites because I couldn’t make the shots worth a ****, had alotta bad casts. Today, we had 15-20 but wind that had shifted to the south and the fish hungry! Today, despite the wind, I was able to make a couple good shots and landed #150 tarpon and an #80. Big fish took about an hour, second fish took about 30 seconds because it hit the fly right by the boat and I reeled down once to get the leader right away :smiley:. 30 minutes later and we got another leader. Both caught on an 11 wt.

Yesterday’s weather was great! We ran all the way out to 2000 ft in less than 1 ft seas in the morning, caught some skipjack and then hit the reef for yellowtail and big sharks in the afternoon. I’m up on Summerland Key right up the road.

Have some video, not many pics. May need some help posting them when I get back to Charleston. What is the best way to post a video?

This is the smaller of the 2, it ended with a pulled leader and a broken 11wt Scott rod. Have a couple more videos that have some jumps that I am having problems with. It is from my wifes phone and the file is an MP4. When I upload the video it only plays the sound, any suggestions?
