Put in at st.26 at about noon today, fished 3-4hrs with minners and live finger mullet- no takers. The wind wasn’t too bad, temp great, muddy water. I saw a boater get a red on a float in very shallow water.
Thinking of fishing behind kiawah, do ya’all know any place closer to drop the yak in than sol legre?
Thanks,

Cut Mullet- I’ve put a yak in at the bridge just before Kiawah and parked my vehicle on the left side of the road. Never had any problem before. You can paddle/fish the Kiawah river, but if your looking to go to Bass or Cendar creek it will be a shorter paddle to put in at Sol Legre.
Jacob Beach
thanks tailchaser, another 5-10degs. and I’m there. i’ll try that bridge.
I put in the edisto (4hole swamp) today. 2sm. bass boated, others missed and bout a doz bream. Worms, crickets, plastic worms.
Last time down to Edisto I saw a guy park on the side of the hwy. on the way to the beach and slip into one of those creeks running under the rd. with a yak and a rod & reel. Looked like some awsome untouchable waters any other way!
