I haven’t posted a lot lately due to our MSC tournament that was held Saturday. Our catch that day was good enough for second. Since we don’t have any points events for a while, I thought I’d share a little.
Today, I took out my nephew. At first, we had little trouble marking fish but simply couldn’t get them to bite. After, a couple of moves we landed on some good biting fish. We set up on an 80 foot drop near the mouth of a creek channel and had our 10 in short order with 54 foot down rods. 8 out of the 10 were 27-31 inches-- a good quality catch for 5 and done!
The lower mid-lake creek mouths-- Bear, John’s, Beaverdam, Rocky, Beach, Dudley, and 20 Mile-- have all produced with the depth and pattern mentioned above. Y’all have fun, be careful, and catch em!
