sounds good harry! I’m burning up to get out there, but work is killing me right now. Hopefully this weekend. I’ll let you know if I can go, and I’ll swing by you’re spot to make sure you don’t catch too many. LOL

WEll I actually won’t be there this weekend I will be in the bayou down south of new orleans fishing my one vacation of the year

Great for you! Have fun on that trip!

Holy crap, Harry!!! Good luck, dude! Bring some of those vudu’s back!!!

I hope to here is the link to the guys site it looks like they catch a bunch of trout everyday http://www.rodnreel.com/captmoore/index.asp?pg=fishing_reports

1st day in lousiana wishing with capt frank 75 trout 7 reds and 2 sheepshead back fished from 7 to 1

Looks like y’all put the smack down on 'em!!! There are some nice sows in there too!!! Glad y’all catching em up. I heard there were a lot of trout caught at the jetties this weekend. A gamewarden friend of mine said he talked to one guy that caught over 100 and was using artificials. The same guy also had 2 12" fish in his box, and they did not swim off when he put them in the water, so I’d imagine he got a real nice ticket. LOL We focused on reds and flounder. Did OK, but nothing to write home about. Didn’t catch any real big fish, but had a nice lunch yesterday.

ARe you in a green Hewes? I believe I saw you a few times on Saturday. We had a spectacular day on trout with a few reds mixed in on friday and saturday. We stopped catching after 40 or so each day and the topwater action was incredible on friday afternoon. Every cast type of bite for two hours before dark in the rain. I also had some nice ones with the biggest trout just under 5 pounds on saturday. We fished everywhere but the jetties from dunn sound, calabash river, and a dozen places on waterway. Everywhere I stopped we caught fish and I only use artificials.

another good day today 75 trout 15 reds and 10 sheepshead it was tough fishing wind blowing 20 mph and rain but still fished

Nice catch. Two days in a row.

What in the world do you do with all the fish?

18’ Hewes Bayfisher/115 4 Stroke Yamaha/6’Powerpole, etc

Filet them then vaccum pack it is my winter fish supply plus lots of friends that want fresh fish.

Ive never saw a fishery like is down here in Lousiana you can catch fish pretty much anywhere.

Finn, yeah that was us. The trout are on fire is the word for sure. I went back yesterday afternoon and put the smack on the reds. Mostly at creek mouths on the incoming. The bit everything from spinner baits to finger mullet. However, they wouldn’t touch live shrimp. I suck at trout fishing. Maybe someone can give me pointers??? LOL SO, that was you in the Flycraft? Good to see you out there man. I’ll holla if I see ya again.
