Great day fishing falling tide. 20 or so trout. Avg 7-8 in. In length. 2or 3 were 15in. They were on creek bends and mouths. 8-10ft. Wanted swimming jig slow rolled on bottom. Some strike in the middle water column. Happy to catch lots of small trout as I am hopeful this is a positive sign for the population. Appears to me that we made it though with minor damage.

Thanks for the report E , I caught 7 yesterday while trying to get a flounder. All of mine were small also, not sure if that’s a good sign or not. I was at Bushy.

I caught 3 trout today…one around 9" and 2 around 16" range. The college boys got skunked.

All three are still swimming tonight.

Glad to see your catching Trouts. Hope they push on up the Cooper river to join the Reds and Flounders soon.

I’ll trade you trout for reds Fatrat!

The last trout I saw was laying dead at the bottom of the Wando… Was about a month ago. Not sure if it died from the previous cold weather or something else… But that was the first time I’ve seen that. Hope it was an isolated thing and not widespread
