The 0515 run out towards the ledge through the first 15mi was about 15-18mph, but seas laid down nicely for low-mid 30’s return out to about 12mi, where back down to ~18. Couldn’t find a weed line, just a couple spots of scattered bits on the way in around 95ft. Dropped a couple ballyhoo, and a shallow diving tuna bait that got hit hard and that was it after a few passes. Picked up a couple big BSB and released a nice AJ for a first timer I brought out. At the Sixty a 3ft Cuda made effortless work of a small BSB at the boat. Heard only a couple boats talking out there, neither of whom seemed to be catching any mahi.
The little reddish bastard is apparently capable of bending his little bastard head 90deg and biting with his two upper-lip protruding bastard teeth
