Headed out around 430 am for the outgoing tide.started out a few per cast but turned on good at 1st light.quickly got to the half mark and then slowed to 8-15 per cast.flipper came thru a few times but didn’t eat my bait.guess he didnt feel like pooping a nail.ended up with a full cooler and started fishin.caught 2 flounder and a few small trout.

Yes sir a nail.few years ago a friend told me flipper wouldnt hit a rod and reel bc they sense the steel hook in the bait.i tried putting metal in my bait balls and it worked.simply slide a nail into the bait ball.i think a lot of the hit and miss reports are from bait getting eaten.how many reports say it was on till flipper showed up and shut off
