Sunday 10/13 Harbor

So we got to the spot well after sundown about 1 hour before low tide. Got a new net, and just threw it in a random area and pulled up a shrimp while waiting for the bait to soak for a few minutes - good sign!

Anyway fishing was slow and steady the whole night ranging from 4-12 per throw… Pulled them in steady through slack tide, and still into the beginning of incoming tide. I have never “Coolered out” but if the dang wind cooperated last night we would have likely. Wind started gusting up about 20 MPH and was having to nearly full throttle in reverse to back up off the pole so we called it.

All in all about 1/3 of a cooler.

Got a question about Net’s/Technique i’ll start a different thread on.

And they tasted yummy!

I’m guessing that plate isn’t for me? Did you cook it all or just some because I bagged mine and they are in the freezer. Probably gonna have some this weekend.

I cleaned them all, but put 1/2 in the freezer. I’ll call you later to plan the next trip! Thinking maybe Friday.

Alright sounds good. Possibly going offshore again this weekend weather permitting
