Went to the Jetties for a little bit and didn’t do any good, so decided to go offshore. Went to a spot my buddy knows and we had a great day with the BSB, a few Weakfish, and a nice Gag. Had several break offs, including a nice Amberjack that we lost at the boat. Waters were calm and beautiful out and surprisingly did not see hardly anyone on the waters.
Sounds like a good day for sure. We thought about going but we’re leery about the forecast.
Nothing wrong with a keeper gag good job

Just out I curiosity how deep was this spot?? I have never caught weakfish and AJs or grouper in the same depth. Would suggest to me it was fairly shallow???
I think right now if you can get to 60’ with good live bottom you can get into about anything.
That is a hard one to answer. My depthfinder was way off, I think it was angled wrong or the timer is off or something. It had us in 110 feet when we stopped at the 60 reef for a few. So I am not entirely sure.
