Woke up Sunday morning to a stiff WNW wind that I was not expecting. I did not watch the weather very closely, but the last time I looked it was supposed to be 5-10 My plan to fish the main river was out so we set out to try some other spots and see if we could find a little relief from the wind. We covered a lot of water and only found 4 trout. One in the keeper range 16” and three little guys in 12-13” range. The bite was really light and I know I missed a few more, but I am not sure if it is age or lack of being able to go, but the wind really messes with my senses and concentration these days, but I better get used to it, because it blows just about every time I plan to go. We still had a good time and were happy just to get out there. Everyone seemed to be moving around a lot we saw the same boats come by us on several occasions.
