Pulled umbrellas with swim shad between 10am and noon yesterday. Caught a nice double within the first 5min of leaving the dock. Both fish were nice keepers in the 10lb range, caught 4 more but they were all shorts. All fish released quickly and healthy back in the yellow filthy water. Had a bunch of issues picking him up trash (suspended sticks and pine straw) in 15-30 fow. Lake level is really too high in my opinion, wish they would drop it down a foot or two, makes points not as productive as you expect.
Got new Lakemaster Plus SD card from Humminbird, not sure if I like it more than my Navionics SD card…jury out until I can spend more than 2 hrs playing with it.
Lots of loons and birds, no top water activity noted…need a couple more warm days…
