Ran up to the 250 line out to the first break in 1200 feet. Rip was good with some weed and we took it north to the 130. It was a wife/girlfriend/daughter day depending on which guy was on boat. We picked up 11 gaffers and 2 slingers all caught by the ladies. Had sailfish hooked for couple minutes of non stop jumping which translated into thrown hook. Weather was pretty and continually subsided for excellent ride back to dock. We did try to push out to another temp break but it was not there, just increase temp as we went out but no structure to it. Listening to the few boats out there it sounded like the ledge would’ve been just as productive.
Thanks for the report. When you guys say 250 line, 130, 850 etc…what exactly is that referring to?

It usually implies the 60 line on TD(time differential) or old loran numbers. the number gets larger the further south you go. sometimes if someone is telling you how far out they maybe talking about the 45 line which gets smaller as you go out. Example the tip of jetties are roughly 45500/ 60500 line and the ledge east of us may be close to 45200/60200. hope that helps some?
