Sunday 6-08 at SW Banks

Left Sullivan’s Isl around 4:45 and was ready to drop lines in 120ft just shy of SWB around 7:30. Picked up a small Mahi by 8, then a double bait thief, looked like a wahoo from the wake it make across the spread. From 8:30 to 12:30 there was nothing…trolled out to 400ft and back…picked up a wahoo, an AJ, then a small king around 1:00. Started trolling in and got another small mahi back in 120ft. Everything was caught in 120-140ft. Pretty good numbers on flyers inside 160ft…not many beyond. Zero weeds to be seen. Temp was 80-81. Ride home sucked straight into it.

Has all the west wind blown everything 80 miles out…seems things are better out towards 226 and 380.

biker

went out to 226 sunday and no weeds. then headed out to the ledge and farther and had a lot of scattered weeds around the 1000-1400ft. hooked a blue marlin in 1350ft of water. got it to the boat then it made a second run and about 400 yards back it jumped and broke the hook in half. Didnt break the 200 lb test leader but the hook. wierdest thing i have seen. ill post pic later.
