Couldn’t take it anymore and put my kayak in with the rain coming down. Tide was falling hard but did finally find some fish. Caught 11 redfish and 6 trout before dark. Biggest trout was a little less than 2 pounds biggest red as approximately 29". All fish were put back to play another day. Returned home very cold but happy.

I started out throwing a 1/8 ounce bucktail but the current was moving too fast to work it properly so I switched to a shrimptail grub with a bullet weight in front. I was fishing the Kiawah area. Took a few casts at lunch today to no avail tide was slack. Kicking myself for not bringing the yak with me today. On windy days like yesterday I would rather fish from my yak then my boat. It is easier to pole and stake out.
