As of 2:00 PM Friday afternoon we have 18 boats with a total of 40 adults and 4 kids.
It looks like going with Sunday worked out well as tomorrow is looking like a washout and as of right now, the rain chance for Sunday is down to 40%. We may still get wet at sometime, but that’s a small price to pay for a nice overcast day with all the schooling that’s been going on.
It’s too late to get a payment in the mail, but if anyone is interested in getting in you can still use PayPal or just contact me to make arrangements to just pay at the weigh in
Tim, I am so sorry I could not make this . I was looking forward to it so much. Life piled up on me at the last minute, but I’ll be sure to make the next one. Looking forward to seeing y’all out there in the meantime.
Fish well my friend.

I had a good time too! Nice to meet some of you and get to participate. Thanks Fog for another fun fishing trip.
Loon, thanks for the jig heads. Already tried one out this afternoon. They seem to work just fine and should do just what I was hoping.
Yup, I know that Steely and I both had a large time. Good to put some faces with screen names. Wish you would’a let Tom and I help you clean up. Hard to believe outa all the great fishermen and women that went out yesterday we woulda caught more fish. The fishing was great, the catching not so much…Had a great time - THANKS!!

HEY! I hung around & offered too!
Todd, it was good to see you, as well as everyone else.
Tim, once again, I had a great time. Thanks for all of your hard work for putting it all together.
I’ve always had a hard time remembering names, but I figure that after about 5 more yrs. of these tournaments/get togethers, I’ll have everyone’s name down pat. And one day, I swear, I will bring a fish to the scales.

Thanks a lot Tim, it’s a lot of work getting this together. Not to mention having to set it all up in a heavy rain.
Happy Bob, it’s not your fault. Murraymaker gave you fake numbers, lol

ohhhhhhh heeellllll no … Chip better not see that …
Watch, he’ll say something like … “We went out yesterday evening and we only caught 8 but all were 23-27”. Really nice fish. They were exactly were I told happy bob to go …"
and then he’ll say something like … “They have been a little finicky on that point … but if you wait them out …”
Just wanted to say, Tim … all the rest of these guys are full of crap … It sucked … Weather sucked … Wind sucked … Fishing (or lack thereof) sucked … The grill not starting sucked … Us having to leave early sucked … Getting back to the ramp only to realize that you lost your keys and were locked in the ramp area … SUCKED!!
It all friggin sucked …
But it all seriousness … it sucked …
LOL and while it did suck it was still cool and everyone had a great time …
Thanks once again for putting this all together …
Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer and socialize more …
I mean, I was within 20’ of Spoonmaster and we never met … UGH …
I also wanted to talk with the other Sea Pro team (who I have no idea who they are) since he has the same boat and was fishing in the same area as we were …
I really wanted a friggin’ Hot Dog …
But there is always next time just remember that Sundays are better than Saturdays … Tight Lines …
Lol…looks like rick knows how to copy and paste from text messages…yes we had some really nice fish yesterday afternoon. Took some experimenting though to see exactly what they wanted. Ended up catching our 4 biggest fish on cutbait sitting on the bottom. Tried cutbait off the bottom but no takers. Literaly had our weights 4-6 inches off the bottom. Lines were barley showing up on depth finder.

Yep, it was good to meet a bunch of new people this time.
I meant to get pictures of the winners with their fish after the weigh in, but totally forgot. Next time we’ll make sure to have a dedicated volunteer to make sure to get some pics.
Overall it was a pretty slow day for most and many of the fish were on the smaller side. But, we really dodged a bullet with the weather and while it wasn’t ideal, we didn’t get any of the predicted thunder storms.
The winner for the kids was Lee’s (Controlfreak) youngest son, 3 yo Rhett, with a fish about 4 lbs?. He walked away with $20.
Second place was Rick’s (Lawcrusher) son RJ who picked up $10 for his catch.
Finishing up in 3rd was Lee’s oldest son, 11 yo Kaden and he won $5 for his fish.
For the adults, the winner was Louise Love. Rod put her on to a nice 6+ pounder that brought her $170. I did find a pic on Facebook that she posted after they got home.
Second place went to Karen Poots, DJ’s girlfriend. I believe her fish was just under 6# and she picked up $70. She had a pic on Facebook as well.
Finally, after all this time I was able to make one! Sundays work for me and I had a good time the short time we were able to be there. Tim, I did get some pics of the kids. Will post (or have Rick do it).
Great meeting those of you I got to meet. Maybe next time for those I didn’t.
