Sunday in the wando

Headed out at noon today to get on some big bruisers in wando, caught some large mullet and headed to spot #1, mid outgoing didn’t produce but one knockdown and he took me straight into the pilings, 100 lb mono and 60lb braid didn’t stand a chance, sat for another 30 with no luck. Decided to pick up and go for some not so big reds and anything else lurking in the area, decided to try to get some smaller bait and ran up in a creek that I’ve never been in, casted the net a few times and looked down and saw a 16 inch flounder just hanging out. Grabbed my jig head and a gulp jerk shad and put it right in his face and he inhaled it! Pretty awesome, he went in the cooler! Went a lil further in the creek and saw reds busting bait left and right stayed in the creek for four hours and caught 12 to 15 reds, four flounder, and one 15 inch croaker, and to top it off three 15 inch trout! Made for one hell of a day! Always love finding new spots and it seems to always happen when your not trying too!! Oh and I decided to pick up a pack of those trout tricks and see what all the hype was about, all 3 trout were caught with them and two reds. I’m sold!

Sound good to me

I think you need to tighten your drag.

There are no fish in the Wando. Nothing to see here. Just fooling. Great job.
